FESTEJA MOMO,VIRA O“HIT”DA REGIÃO.
UM POUCO DE HISTÓRIA: Em 1840,
a alta sociedade carioca começou a realizar bailes de
carnaval. Inspirados nas festas que aconteciam na Europa, os encontros eram
fartos de bebidas e comidas, embalados por ritmos
oriundos do Velho Continente. Enquanto isso, nas ruas da cidade, milhares de
foliões brincavam o entrudo , festa portuguesa em que pessoas fantasiadas
dançam e jogam limões de cheiro, farinha ou água uns nos outros. Assim nasceu o
carnaval no Brasil.
Em 1950, o Rio de Janeiro, onde tudo começou, comemorava 460 anos de fundação e 156 versões
do carnaval de rua. “É necessário lembrar que o carnaval, para uma parte os povo,
sempre teve a dimensão de ser um tempo de subversão da cidadania roubada. O
povo inventa nas ruas a cidade a cidade
negada nos gabinetes dos poderosos, sobretudo no contexto de transição entre o
trabalho escravo e o trabalho livre, na falta de segurança, saúde , transporte,
educação, gritos popular que ecoou nos
últimos anos da monarquia e nos primeiros da república, e ressoa até os dias de
hoje , , quando a festa ganhou contornos populares mais contundentes e uma
parte significativa dela passou a ser um canal de expressão. Em Pindamonhangaba, este movimento não foi
diferente, terra de barões e viscondes, os carnavais, tiveram a forte
influencia do movimento Carnavalesco do Rio. Por aqui, também aconteceram os
blocos, os Ranchos, as Famílias, que
saiam as ruas para pular o carnaval. Com
o advento da modernidade e tecnologia tudo
se perdeu, dando espaço a shows,
luzes e cores. Socó, com o seu
bloco “ SOCO DA MADRUGADA “, criou uma proposta de resgatar a maravilha do carnaval antigo, trazendo as
ruas da cidade, pessoas alegres, bonitas, felizes em apenas brincar o tríduo de
momo.
Rogério de
Azevedo, o popular Socó; menino da Pindamonhangaba, antigo coroinha da
Igreja Matriz N.S. Bonsucesso (sobrinho do Padre João), quase virou padre por
vontade do seu tio, trocou a liturgia da igreja romana, pela musica
profana. Abandonou os cantos Gregorianos
em Latim, do “TE DEUM”, pela musica popular brasileira. Compositor, cantor, depois de varias passagens pela musica, criou a banda Verde Branco, conjunto musical
de grande sucesso na década de 90\2000. Funcionário concursado na prefeitura,
sempre gostou do carnaval, mas do carnaval da serpentina, da água de cheiro,
das marchinhas , do carnaval sem drogas, sem bebedeiras desenfreadas, do
carnaval da Pindamonhangaba de antes,
onde as famílias saiam às ruas para se divertirem. No ano de 2014 ouvindo amigos, e parentes que
o incentivara “Socó”, resolveu colocar o seu bloco na rua. Foi uma correi,
uma luta onde as pessoas não acreditavam que este projeto alcançaria tal projeção. Os abadas prontos, ficou resolvido que o SOCO
DA MADRUGADA, abriria de fato o carnaval de Pindamonhangaba, iria para as ruas as 23.59hs da sexta feira,
saindo do Largo do Quartel, circulando pelo centro da cidade. E assim
aconteceu. Lá estavam os amantes do
velho Carnaval de rua, jovens,
velhos,crianças, famílias inteiras sambando
ao som da banda do Bloco. O
inesperado aconteceu, quando o
bloco já estava nas ruas; seu irmão
vitima de um mal súbito, causado pela emoção,
vitimado por um infarto fulminante do Miocárdio , entrou em óbito no P.S
local. O Bloco continuo em sua trajetória, onde
“Socó”, entre lágrimas e samba, levou os seus foliões até a dispersão, numa homenagem aquele que fora
seu grande incentivador o seu irmão Antonio Domingos Sávio de Azevedo. Falando a respeito Rogério
Azevedo , o Socó afirmou : Apesar do fato, Rogério Socó decidiu
continuar com o desfile do bloco. “Meu
irmão se foi fazendo uma das coisas que mais gostava, que era curtir o
carnaval. Tenho certeza que a continuação do bloco, mesmo após sua morte foi o
melhor a ser feito. Meu irmão ficaria muito feliz com isso e se fosse comigo,
também gostaria que ele continuasse com o bloco”.
Em 2015 O bloco Soco da Madrugada, voltou as ruas de Pindamonhangaba, com toda
sua força, apesar das dificuldades dos
patrocinadores e empresários locais,
sempre com uma visão imediatista, relutando a investir em publicidade e ações
como esta (com algumas exceções).
brir dos carnavais de Chiquinha Gonzaga que compôs, sob encomenda dos dirigentes do cordão Rosa de Ouro, em 1899, uma música especificamente para o fim carnavalesco. Compositora e musicista já consagrada, registrou assim a primeira e a mais antiga marcha-rancho do carnaval brasileiro. “Ó abre alas” com uma estrutura idêntica às músicas criadas pelos ranchos carnavalescos.
O Bloco “SOCO DA MADRUGADA,
veio recriar o clima dos Ranchos, dos Blocos, das Famílias, trouxe uma proposta de resgatar a maravilha do carnaval antigo, trazendo as
ruas da cidade, pessoas alegres, bonitas, felizes em apenas brincar o tríduo de
momo.
Resultado, nestas 03 versões 2014, 2015, 2016, “ o
Bloco “SOCO DA MADRUGADA” , se firmou como o maior bloco (isolado) da região reuniu em sua manifestação de 2016, mas de 12.000 pessoas (informação da
PM) nas ruas de Pindamonhangaba. Com certeza se a cidade, os empresários,
as autoridades fizerem a sua parte, Pindamonhangaba, dentro em breve, terá a manifestações carnavalesca da região.
Trazendo para cá, pessoas, turistas, gente que por certo em muito haverão de
contribuir para o progresso e bem estar da nossa Princesa do Norte. O presidente ainda reforça que é um bloco bem familiar e
que muitas crianças acompanharam o trajeto em 2014. Seu Presidente Rogério Azevedo o popular Socó, já faz a
chamada para 2017 “Esse é um bloco das
famílias, dos amigos e daquelas pessoas que me conhecem e têm contato comigo
durante o ano. O bloco é o único que sai durante a sexta-feira de carnaval e,
de acordo com o presidente, já está virando uma tradição. “Enquanto
estiver vivo, o bloco vai sair”, garantiu.
